I have officially lived here in San Antonio for one year. Isn't that crazy?! What a crazy roller coaster ride of a year! It's been the hardest but also the best year of my life!
My Birthday
For my birthday, I spent the day at the pool with friends. That evening we went out to eat and then to Kennedy's for drinks!
Boating on Canyon Lake
Laura (second from the left) and her husband live on Canyon Lake and have a boat. They have invited us out a couple times. Here's a picture from this past Saturday! The WaveRunner in the background is Jenna and Kevin's. We met them out on the lake and all took turns driving/riding.
Photo Shoot
Believe it or not, I was asked to be in a photo shoot for a new restaurant in town. They were taking pictures for their menu and to advertise in a magazine. It was fun and I was flattered to take part in it. The drinks and food were free, so that was an added bonus! The photographer will e-mail me the pictures soon, so I'll post them when I get them in.
